I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and Political Science at St. Catherine University. I research issues in education, gender, inequality, labor, and development in the Middle East and North Africa. Current projects include work on education and labor market mismatch, skills training, pre-primary quality and inequality, the future of work, and child care and female labor force participation. I received my PhD from the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. Before starting the PhD I received my master’s in public policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
